What is ShotPay?
ShotPay is the first full scale payment infrastructure complete with buy now, pay later, Layaway, and payment processing built exclusively for the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor & Tactical industry.
How does it work?
At checkout, select ShotPay as your payment method. Choose your method of payment: buy now pay later, Layaway, or a regular card transaction. Based on your selection you will be guided to do the rest.
What can I buy with ShotPay?
ShotPay works on purchases between $100 and $2,500 at any participating merchant. This includes firearms, ammunition, hunting gear, tactical accessories, and more.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. ShotPay does not run a hard credit pull. Your credit score is not impacted when you apply or make purchases.
What payment plans are available?
You can choose between Pay-In-4 or Layaway depending on the merchant and your purchase size. Both options break your total into predictable, scheduled payments with clear terms disclosed upfront.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. What you see at checkout is what you pay. No surprise charges, no interest, no fine print designed to catch you off guard.
Is ShotPay available in my state?
ShotPay is available across the U.S. except in California and New York, though specific terms and purchase limits may vary by state. You will see what is available to you at checkout based on your location.
Does ShotPay work for firearm purchases that require an FFL transfer?
Yes. For purchases that require an FFL transfer, your order is fulfilled through the standard dealer background check and transfer process. ShotPay works within that process, not around it.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We will notify you before any payment is due. If you have an issue, reach out to our support team as soon as possible. We are straightforward about how missed payments are handled and will always communicate clearly with you.
Does ShotPay donate to any causes?
Yes. ShotPay donates $1 from every BNPL or Layaway transaction to nonprofits supporting the 2A community, Gold Star Families, and veteran organizations including the Second Amendment Foundation, Hunter Seven, and others.
How do I manage my payments?
You can track and manage all of your payments directly through the ShotPay platform. Everything is visible in one place so you always know where you stand.
How do I find merchants that accept ShotPay?
Participating merchants will display the ShotPay badge at checkout. As we grow our merchant network, you will see ShotPay available at more of the brands you already shop with.
